The Deluxe New Era Infection Control Shower Commode Chair with Strap Seat is a sturdy and durable chair made for multiple purposes in caring for patients. Equipped with a set of rolling 3-inch casters on each leg of the chair, this chair can be transported between bedrooms, bathrooms, and other locations within the user's living space. The casters can be locked for additional safety between moves as well as when the chair is being used over a commode or in the shower.

This seat comes equipped with a removable square commode pail that goes underneath the seat and covers more space than the seating area of the chair has which cuts down on the risk of spills. The pail can be removed out from under the seat for cleanings and increased sanitation of the chair between uses. The removable pail also allows for this seat to be rolled over and stopped above standard toilets and ADA approved toilets to allow for independent toiletting without using the pail.

The seat comes equipped with safety straps along the seat and backrest of the chair which reduces the risk of slipping or sliding. The straps are sturdy and made with no fittings on them which eliminates the risk of connectors breaking or failing to support the patient.

This commode chair can also be used as a shower chair to prevent slipping and falling in the shower or tub during bathing. The chair has a 285 lbs. weight capacity.
