The Danmar Black Hard Shell Helmet is made from shock absorbent foam that lines a hard, ventilated plastic shell for superior comfort and durability. Having full ventilation, without compromising head coverage, is important for the comfort of the person wearing any kind of headgear. The foam is coated in vinyl, so it's easy to clean using just soap and water. Each lightweight Danmar Black Hard Shell Helmet comes with an adjustable snap-closure chinstrap.

Choose from a wide range of helmet modifications.
A free set of 4 Cush-In-Pads are included with every helmet for more individualized sizing adjustments, if needed. These pads help absorb perspiration and create a more custom fit.
If child's head circumference falls between helmet sizes, additional cushions may be needed. See Optional Liner Cushions found above.

the helmet works nicely, best one ive had so far, 4th one i have bought. i was disappointed though because i ordered an xl based on the help i had on the phone when i ordered it and i should have gotten a large, i couldnt return it because i had ordered the neck pad and the notches to allow for easier glasses on and off i had to jerry rig padding to go in the head band to make the helmet fit and not be so loose. i like the helmet but am disappointed in the service when i bought it
