A climbing wall exposes children to motor planning skills. This is demonstrated in the way that climbing requires planning that involves hand and feet placement and determining the amount of strength needed. The Convertible Climbing System is made especially for lateral movement, which is also a great way to enhance the use of both hands simultaneously. Ideal for use in OT, PT or Adapted P.E. programs, the climbing wall does not need the use of a belay or harness system.
The Convertible Climbing System Includes:
- (3) 57"W x 29"H panels, complete with pre-mounted handhold anchors
- Unique sliding-rail system
- (20) handholds
- All necessary hardware for installation (hardware packages vary depending on the type of surface to which the Climbing System is mounted)
The sliding rails are pre-slotted, which makes it possible to easily anchor the Climbing Wall to an existing wall. The three wood panels includes predrilled and countersunk holes for easy mounting to the sliding-rail system. This eliminates the need to use dangerous protruding bolt heads.
There are three different versions of the Convertible Climbing System to accommodate the type of wall you are using. Each different type of all uses a different installation method. All sliding rails are pre-slotted, allowing for easy anchoring to your existing walls.
