Comodita Avanti Walker for Stroke Patients

The attractive Comodita Avanti wheeled walker is designed to be a lightweight, elegant, modern-style rolling walker that can easily be operated with one or two hands equally well.

The easy handling rolling walker has a brake bar located within easy reach beneath the rounded, rubbery-foam cushioned handle that allows a one-handed or two-handed user to squeeze the brake handle that will simultaneously operate both of the rear-wheels brake systems for a steady, safe and equally controlled stop. Once the user reaches his destination and stops, he can push the brake bar in a down position to safely lock the brake and park the walker.

The sturdy and strong walker is 23" wide by 27.5" long, an adjustable frame height between 33" - 37" high, a 300-pound user weight capacity, and is recommended for individuals between 4'8" to 6'2" tall.

The Avanti's contemporary and stylish form has the unique signature "S" shaped back-wheel design to provide the user extra walking or standing space between the rear wheels to help avoid accidental tripping or falling. The large and smooth-rolling 8" wheels allow the user to traverse a wide range of indoor and outdoor surfaces and combined with the easy maneuverability, the Avant is very easy to operate within small or narrow spaces.

The 15-pound rolling walker includes a convenient removable cup holder as well as a removable and machine washable nylon bag that can be used to safely transport personal and important items for the user. The 15 1/2" by 10" removable plastic tray can be used to transport small items or be used as a support table while eating a meal or playing a game.

When not in use or when being transported in a vehicle or other form of transportation, the walker can be easily and quickly folded up to a small 18" width allowing it to be easily stored away in a closet, under a bed, or resting against the wall in a corner.
