Like other replacement covers for Comfy Splint products, this Comfy Splints cover was designed to fit most Adult-sized Deviation Finger Extender Orthosis to continue acting as a buffer between fingers and the palm while helping to gradually increase the range of motion (ROM) for fingers with a smooth and plush surface that promotes hygiene and comfort.

Like other replacement covers for Comfy Splints products, this cover has the advantage of having an easy application and removal process against splints that utilize Comfyprene covers. A hook keeps the cover secured and completely wrapped around the entire orthosis to reduce the chance of self-harm during use. Likewise, a cover is easily replaceable because the orthosis frame has a malleable T-shaped frame that easily slides between the palm and fingers. The orthosis can be adjusted with the cover for additional movement and desired comfort; this helps with securing the wrist and hand while helping increase ROM.

The orthosis cover is made of Terry Cloth material that provides additional cushioning and promotes hygiene care. The fabric material is treated with antimicrobial FreshGuard and DriRelease cotton fibers to absorb moisture and for skin breakdown prevention. Foam layers line the cover and straps to mitigate skin friction with the orthosis while acting as protection against pressure sores.
