The Goniometer Finger Extenders by ComfySplints is a T-shaped orthosis device that can be angularly adjusted for the severely contracted hand and wrist. This offers support by gradually adapting the angle of the frame and the size of the roller width. The therapeutic benefits of this plush terrycloth covered splint allow the range of motion of the distal, middle, and proximal phalanx joints to be increased comfortably and slowly.
The inner padding is made of thicker foam than other models and is covered with a removable, highly absorbent, machine washable cotton cloth. If a small stain appears on the therapeutic cover it can be spot cleaned. When malodors or deeper stains begin to appear the cover cloth can be taken off and tossed in the washing machine. It should be line dried. Designed for ambidextrous use, the orthosis secures to the users wrist and hand using equally comfortable Velcro straps.
