Hand and finger strength are often taken for granted, but for individuals who have suffered an injury or required a surgery of the fingers, hands, or forearms, what was once a given can now be difficult and frustrating. Individuals who suffer from mobility-inhibiting conditions from arthritis to multiple sclerosis all know the frustration that comes with struggling to get the hand to cooperate and do as it™s asked.
The CanDo Gel Hand Exercise Balls are a fun, interesting way of conditioning the fingers and hands to help return some of that strength and dexterity. Users can squeeze and release the balls with their entire hand or with individual fingers, and can manipulate the spongy ball in a variety of ways to work on different parts of the hand. Resistance exercisers like these can help improve dexterity, strengthen grip, and develop fine and gross motor skills.
These exercise balls come in six different resistance levels that are color-coded for easy identification. Each resistance level is available in the standard, round shape, and the larger, oblong shape. The rounded shape fits easily in the palm of your hand, while the oblong shape is ergonomically designed to further involve the thumb and pinky and provide a larger surface for manipulation.
The gel inside the exercise aids can withstand temperatures from -76 to 167 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning the entire ball can be heated or chilled to provide heat and cold therapy along with muscle conditioning.
