The CanDo® Hand Exerciser Webs are made of perforated elastic material in a variety of color-coded resistance levels stretched across a stiff, circular frame. Users insert their fingers into the holes in the elastic and then can stretch their fingers out, clench their fingers in, or perform any number of flexion, extension, opposition, and supination activities designed to develop, maintain, or rehabilitate. Exercises and difficulty can be altered by changing the depth of finger insertion, switching hand and finger position, or switching to a different resistance level.
The exerciser webs are designed to be light-weight and are available in two sizes: a 14 diameter and a 7 diameter, in both low-powder and latex-free forms. Resistance levels range from Extra-Extra Light to Extra Heavy to cater to any user™s strength levels and to accommodate a graduated resistance program. The larger size is suitable for two-handed exercises, though not so large as to prohibit one-handed activities.
The 14 diameter, low-powder exerciser web has two multi-resistance options, one with half Extra Light and half Medium and the other with half Light and half Heavy resistance levels, increasing the versatility of the aid.
