Many exercise ball routines include activities that require the user to remove their feet from the ground. Without a base to hold the ball in place, many exercises must be modified or excluded which restricts the user™s ability to fully exploit the potential of their exercise ball.
The Stabilizer Base is designed to cradle the exercise ball to provide stabilization. When used for therapy or general exercise, the base allows users to be gradually introduced to inflatable exercise balls. First time users or users with limited coordination who are not prepared for the inherent instability of inflatable exercise balls are able to engage in strength building exercises with the added stability of the base. The base also ensures that the ball will stay at a desk if using in an office or classroom setting. The base keeps the ball from rolling away from the user while they are standing up or sitting down onto the ball.
The lightweight design of the base is easy to move where needed. Additionally, if the ball needs to be stored the base adds minimal height to the ball and has a very small footprint. The small footprint makes it ideal for storing in small cabinets or on shelves.
