The optional Airflo 24 Air Compressor is more efficient and powerful than the Airflo Plus, providing a more durable unit than before. At 30% lighter then the current Airflo, this air compressor has been vastly improved with its renewed grab handle style and balanced carry.
With its LED indicator, easily find the power button and view the power levels with a quick glance. Additionally, when the battery life gets low or dies, easily charge the air compressor with its stowage board. This lightweight 9-pound air compressor requires a charge recovery for just one lift takes two hours.
Fall Statistics
One out of four Americans over the age of 65 fall each year. Injuries can occur during the fall and moving and handling can make injuries worse. Every 11 seconds, an older adult is treated in the emergency room for a fall. In the UK, 30% of adults over 65 who live at home will experience at least one fall a year. There is a direct correlation between recovery and how long the person was on the floor after falling. The Camel Lift helps to minimize the amount of contact until a professional can arrive if an injury is sustained.
Convenient
The Camel Lift deflates completely for convenient transportation. The lift comes with a discreet bag for easy storage.
The Camel can be used by the fallen individual or with another person's assistance. The lift not only is comfortable and helps the fallen person, but the caretaker does not have to strain and possibly cause themselves injuries by lifting a fallen person. The Camel does the work to ensure complete safety and ease.
Safe
The Camel lift features built-in safety precautions, such as the lift will stop once the full pressure is reached.
After an hour of not being used, the compressor will turn itself off, helping to conserve battery for future usage.
Easy to Use
The Camel is easy to put together for use. Simply connect the four hoses from the hand control to the corresponding colored and numbered connectors on the lift. Then connect the hose from the hand control to the Airflo Plus Compressor. The clearly labeled hose helps to prevent any malfunction from the hoses being mixed up.
The Airflo Plus Compressor features easy to read labels to help identify the power button and battery status indicator light.
If being used on a rough surface, place a blanket or groundsheet below the Camel to ensure no friction rubs a hole. Position the Camel next to the fallen person with their head near the Camel badge. Move the patient cautiously and with as little jostling as possible. If the person can shuffle onto the cushion, move immediately on. The head should lie on the Camel badge.
The lifting cushions will inflate at the press of a button, using the Airflo Plus compressor. After the four numbered and colored airlines are connected and the handset is connected to the compressor, operate the handset by pressing and holding each numbered button in sequence. The different sections won't over inflate. Three or four can be inflated depending on the needs.
Warranty:
The cushion is covered through the manufacturer by a two-year warranty, while the battery is covered by a one-year warranty.
