The Bunnell (tm) Spring Wire Safety Pin Splint is a wire finger splint that provides support for any finger. The strap can be adjusted to choose the desired amount of finger extension, which is very useful for progressive splinting for treatment of contractures. This finger splint is made of aluminum with felt pads for cushion and is anti-microbial. To size, measure length from the MP (metacarpophalangeal) crease to fingertip. If between sizes, choose the larger size.

The Bunnell (tm) Spring Wire Safety Pin Splint is ideal for final PIP (proximal interphalangeal) extension splinting. This splint is made of aluminum with felt pads and bilateral wire supports. It has a serial static design for reducing PIP joint flexion contractures by adjusting the PIP strap tension. Combined DIP joint tightness also may be addressed with this splint. The Bunnell (tm) Spring Wire Safety Pin Splint is anti-microbial for hygiene.
