Revive Works Well in:
- Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Hospitals
- Homes
Infinite Adjustability and Support
The Revive can be positioned to comfort the patient, as well as assist in transferring from a standing to sitting position and vice versa. With a posterior tilt of up to 12 degrees, an anterior tilt of up to 10 degrees, and a back that reclines up to 67 degrees, the patient can be positioned comfortably. For leg support during showering, the leg rests are able to fully elevate. Flip-down footrests support the feet. This infinite adjustability helps the patient feel secure, while also assisting the caregiver with accessible positioning for hair washing and reaching hard-to-reach areas.
Comfort Tension Seating
Broda's state-of-the-art Comfort Tension Strapping System provides customized support and positioning that comforts the body and redistributes pressure, which protects skin integrity. By redistributing pressure, the shower chair improves blood flow and encourages skin tissue oxygenation. With straps that conform, the pelvis and back areas are comfortably supported in a proper position. The strapping system allows air to flow, which prevents the buildup of heat and moisture.
Comfort Tension Seating is Ideal for:
Those at risk of skin breakdown, including those with a history of pressure ulcers and wounds
Those with bony prominences
Those with kyphosis and lordosis
Those who would otherwise be severely agitated due to physical discomfort
Those with decreased postural stability
Those with decreased pelvis mobility or a misaligned pelvis
Those who make involuntary movements
Comfortable Support Elements
Both the patient's upper and lower extremities are well supported with the Revive Shower Commode Chair. Design elements such as swing-away, removable armrests, flip-down footrests, and a molded headrest fully support the body, helping the patient to feel supported and secure.
Durable and Easy to Cleaning
The Revive's frame, casters, gas springs, and fasteners are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel to prevent rusting. To prevent water from collecting on the chair, there are drainage holes placed in susceptible areas throughout the shower commode chair. The Chair's strapping system is easy to clean, which is ideal for facilities that are conscious of infection control.
Safe Patient Handling
Gas cylinders operate the Revive's tilt, recline, and leg rests adjustment capabilities, reducing caregiver strain and injury while transferring and positioning the patient. Ideal for use as part of a Patient Safe Handling program, the Revive supports patients when transferring from a sit to stand position, which helps make the patient feel secure.
Easy Mobility
Three total lock stainless steel casters and 1 directional lock stainless steel caster allow caregivers to easily navigate the Revive and patient throughout healthcare facilities.
