The Bicro Stockinette - Poly/Cotton is a perfect material to wear on a body extremity between the skin and a splint or cast. The non-sterile polyester and cotton woven blend is designed in a tubular style shape that fits over an injured finger, leg or arm for easy and quick protection to help minimize skin irritation from a cast or splint.
Used as the first layer of applied protection under synthetic and plaster casting materials against skin irritation, the stretchy 50% polyester/50% cotton blend stockette has excellent memory retention and is also often used to hold wraps and bandages in place. The stockinette comes in a 25-yard roll with a choice of different widths of 2-inches, 3-inches, 4-inches, or 6-inches, and has a heavy-duty cardboard dispenser for easy and fast stockinette allocation. The stockinette is not made with natural rubber latex.
