The Baseline Cable Tensiometer is the perfect solution for versatile muscle strength testing. The strong, durable construction is based on a design originally used to test the strength of aircraft cables to ensure maximum reliability through every functional capacity evaluation and job task analysis. The convenient design is time-efficient, portable, and easy to use, securing easily to any stationary object and then measuring the pulling force of different muscle groups. The tensiometer can be easily outfitted with an ankle, thigh, wrist, or head anchor for versatile measurement capability.

This highly-effective measurement tool features a conveniently adjustable chain length to accommodate a variety of patient heights and also allow clinicians to modify the point of force. The gauge is able to present readings in either pounds or kilograms for user convenience and features a pointer that remains at the maximum reading of the force until it is reset, allowing easy reading without the patient having to maintain pressure. Each tensiometer comes complete with two five-foot chains and four snap hooks, and includes a hard carrying case for easy storage and transport when not in use.
