The Baseline® Back-Leg-Chest Dynamometer uses a lifting base, chain, and handle to measure a patient™s strength in their back, legs, or chest, depending on what their physician is looking for. The results of these tests allow practitioners to determine the level of damage a patient has suffered due to an injury and establish a baseline of where to start the rehabilitative process. Knowing where the patient is starting allows for a more customized, personal therapeutic approach that can therefore best help minimize the recovery time.
The hardware accessories available for the Baseline® Back-Leg-Chest Dynamometer are the lifting chain, standing-on lift base, oval connector, and handles. Each is available for purchase separately, allowing practitioners to choose what best suits their practice. The base comes in large and small size to suit both regular and pediatric practices, both with indentations to guide foot placement. The handles are available in single and double, and the threaded connectors hold the chain fast for security during use. The snap oval connector allows for quick and easy chain exchanges, meaning patients have less time to wait for the dynamometer to be adjusted for them.
