More Information

In order to create a plan of action for rehabilitation therapy, therapists need to know where the patient is starting in regards to range of motion, strength, extent of damage, etc. This pneumatic bulb dynamometer/pinch gauge allows therapists to quantify the strength of both the patient™s hand/grip strength and their finger/pinch strength. This gauge also allows therapists and patients to keep track of progress, which is an important encouragement on the road to recovery.

The Baseline Pneumatic Bulb Hand Dynanometer/Pinch Gauge comes with three separate squeeze bulbs, each a different size and all interchangeable. This allows for the therapist to choose the best-sized bulb to fit the patient™s grip or pinch in order to get the best results out of the test.

The small size and low weight of this device makes it uniquely portable, meaning patients can track their progress regardless of where they are. The display is easy to read and the mechanics very simple, allowing for a quick, efficient test. The measurement is calibrated in PSI (0-30) and the dial remains at the maximum reading of the test until the device is reset, allowing therapists time to accurately record results.
