The Armedica AM-500 Four-Section Top Power Adjustable Treatment Table with Elevating Center enables easy patient treatment with a variety of options. The four-section top is divided into a three-piece head section with armrests, an elevating center section, and a foot section. The head section is divided into the main head section and a pair of armrests which can move independently from the central head section. The central head section features a contoured face and nose opening for use with prone patients and can be raised up to 45 degrees and lowered to 90 degrees. The center section features a spring-loaded lock that holds the section in place, but when released enables the section to raise up to 30 degrees. The foot section is able to be raised up to 73 degrees for a convenient backrest when patients are seated upright, giving even more positional versatility.
Each top section is supported with an individual welded steel frame, reinforced with pivoting joints housing hardened steel shoulder bolts and locking nuts for effortless operation even through heavy use. Sturdy steel frame enables a lifting capacity of 500 lbs to better accommodate your patients. The table top is electrically height adjustable from a minimum of 18 inches to a maximum of 37 inches and is controlled by a convenient footswitch, enabling easy hands-free operation without interrupting treatment. Full height adjustment reduces strain on the clinician by making patient transfers and positioning effortless.
Each top section is padded with 1.5 inches of firm-density foam and upholstered with 34 oz vinyl. The heavy duty vinyl upholstery is available in eleven color options to complement any taste or decor and is treated with an innovative Permablok 3 anti-bacterial coating. Permablok 3 creates a barrier against surface build-up of bacteria and mold and protects your table against staining and microbial degradation to keep it looking just like new. Each of the top sections also features radiused, seamless corners for a sleek finish and smooth feel.
This table rests on a power-assisted caster base enabling an easy transition between stationary and mobile. However, should you desire increased mobility or clearance, you have the option of adding a different base with your choice of four Total Lock Swivel Casters or an additional 6 inches of clearance.
