Easy to Use
The Archimedes Bath Lift from Mangar separates into three pieces to easily clean and transport. The backrest helps with lumbar support and allows the user to relax while being bolstered. The hand control is waterproof and has easy to read buttons for lowering and raising and shows battery levels. Green is okay to use, flashing green is fine for the one use but needs to be charged. The red light means that the battery needs to be recharged before use.
Safety Features
Suction cups on the bottom of the lift make sure that the chair doesn't dangerously slide. A quick release function will make them easily come off, reducing strain from bending over to try to pull them off. Flexible flaps on the sides bend on contact and won't pinch, limiting the risk of entrapment and pain.
The lift has an important and innovates safety feature when the lift won't lower into the bath unless there is enough battery power to raise up again, blocking against getting stuck in the bathtub.
An emergency stop button, located about the word 'stop' can be pressed in case of an emergency situation.
The transfer flap can be set over the edges of the tub for easier sliding onto the seat.
