High strength plastics and robotic welding has allowed Safe-t-Mate to add more user friendly features without adding to the overall weight of the Anti-Rollback System. The result is a new and improved product that that fits more chairs, offers greater adjustability, and increased comfort.
Each Anti-Rollback System is made from high-strength steel and can be adjusted in height to fit regular, hemi, or extra-low wheelchairs. The depth adjustments move the trigger pad forward to accommodate residents who slouch in their chairs. Attach the system to the rear of most sling-seat wheelchairs
1. Newly Designed Seat Lever -: Allows for more seat pad adjustments.
- 3 height adjustments for regular, hemi, and extra low chairs.
- 2 depth adjustments move pad forward to accommodate residents who slouch in their chairs.
- Articulating/Floating Seat Pad remains in proper alignment with the seat bottom for greater comfort.

3. Temporary Override Lever -
The center override lever makes backing up an unoccupied chair a cinch. Opt to remove the lever without effecting operation of the anti-rollback device.
What Kind of Wheelchairs are Compatible
The Anti-Rollback System is recommended for use with hemi or low chairs, dual-axle or triple-axle chairs, bariatric chairs, or chairs that have space-saver or flip-back armrests. Some models with nonstandard frames may require the Anti-Rollback System to be adapted.
