The Armedica AM-BA400 Power Adjustable Treatment Table features an innovative control scheme and a comfortable padded top divided into four sections. The four top sections each have their own welded steel frame for individual support within each section to increase the tables overall strength and durability. Each pivoting joint within this treatment table is equipped with hardened steel shoulder bolts with locking nuts in order to provide years of effortless operation. Also featuring a 500 lb lifting capacity, this table will accommodate both you and your patients.
The unique control system utilized by this table is a bar that goes all the way around the base of the table and is, therefore, present on all sides. This control system allows you to adjust the height of the table no matter which side you happen to be on at the time and without ever having to hunt for a control switch. Additionally, it provides the ability for you to adjust the table height hands-free, enabling you to continue interacting with and treating the patient while adjusting the table height. This treatment table is also equipped with a power-assisted caster system, allowing this table to be either fluidly mobile or completely stationary depending on your need.
The sections are broken down into the head section, the center section, the lumbar section, and the foot section. The head section includes a contoured face and nose opening to provide patients comfort when being placed in a prone position. The head section is capable of being raised 45 degrees and lowered 90 degrees. The center section is not individually adjustable as it provides the stable base for the rest of the body. The lumbar section can be separated up to 5 inches from the center section and rolls along a track on four steel ball roller bearings. This section can be easily locked into any position along this range of motion with a simple, but sturdy positive gear rack. The foot section is capable of being raised 80 degrees for a comfortable backrest when the patient is sitting upright.
Each Armedica treatment table is upholstered with heavy duty 34 oz vinyl available in 11 colors, and coated with the invaluable Permablok 3 protective barrier that decreases germ count, repels bacteria and fungal build-up, and protects your table for years to come from abrasions and stains. Each upholstered top section is padded with one inch of firm density foam and features the thoughtful addition of rounded, seamless corners to remove the irritation that can be caused by seams and sharp edges on other treatment tables.
