Simple Design Features
The Compact Oxygen Concentrator features an attractive minimalist design that's less obtrusive in a patient's home and is easy to operate. A simplified 2 piece cabinet is easy to assemble and disassemble, making maintenance easy. All patient controls are readily accessible. A recessed humidifier nook prevents damage. The intake filter features a translucent back to allow technicians to quickly determine if the filter is dirty.

The oxygen concentrator unit is tested in high humidity and temperatures for extended periods of time. A proprietary sieve mixture, fill process and assembly ensures product quality, a the rotary valve uses a proven design. The compressor also provides exceptional quality and durability. The Compact DeVilbis Oxygen Concentrator accommodates up to a 50-foot cannula (15.3 meters), and the cannula fitting is protected. Safety Features
Audible alarms indicate power failure (capacitor powered), high/low pressure, low oxygen, or if service is required. No battery is required for the alarms, which reduces the need for service and maintenance. A pressure-compensated flow meter ensures accurate flow display. There is a pressure-relief valve and thermal protection on the compressor. The cabinet is flame-retardant, and the double insulated unit uses a two-prong plug.

How do I set up my Drive Medical Compact DeVilbiss Oxygen Concentrator?
Answer: If you look at pages 7 and 8 in the User Manual (linked on the page), you can find a detailed, step-by-step guide to set up your concentrator.
The description says a prescription is required is shipped to a residential address. What if it is shipped to a business address?
Answer: If an item is "prescription required", a prescription is necessary for any shipping address unless the shipping address is for a hospital, nursing home, doctor's office, or other medical/healthcare facility.
What should I do if the yellow Low Oxygen light is on and the intermittent audible signal is sounding?
Answer: This may be due to a few reasons:
  • Flow meter is not properly set - Make sure that the flow meter is properly set to the prescribed number.
  • Air filter is blocked - Check the air filter, if it is dirty, wash it following the cleaning instructions on page 8 of the user manual.
  • Exhaust is blocked - Check the exhaust area and make sure there is nothing restricting the unit exhaust.

  • What do I do if my Drive Medical Oxygen Concentrator Red Service Required light is on and an alarm is going off?
    Answer: This may be due to the following reasons:
  • Flow meter is not properly set - Ensure that the flow meter is properly set to the prescribed number.
  • Air filter is blocked - Check the air filter and wash it if it is dirty, follow instructions on page 8.
  • Exhaust is blocked - Check the exhaust area and make sure there is nothing restricting the unit exhaust.
  • Eletronic Assembly Malfunction - Turn your unit "Off", and switch to your reserve oxygen system, contact us immediately.
  • Is this a new concentrator or refurbished?
    Answer: This is a new, in-box item!
    Does this device work perfectly at a height of 6000 feet? About the cannula, usually this devices has a protecting bar, I'm assuming this is hidden. Can you tell me more about it?
    Answer: Yes, We sell and provide these throughout the country including the western area of the US where the elevation is much higher than 6000 feet. About the cannula, Connect the cannula with tubing to the "Xmass" tree below which attaches to the machine. Can also use a water bottle and then connect the tubing and cannula. We're still waiting the reply for the Companion.
