The Freedom Chair is equipped with powerful brushless motors can run continuously for long periods for convenient mobility with limited worry of needing to recharge. Each wheelchair comes with a single battery and it can be easily configured with up to 2 batteries for long distance travel on just a single charge. It features a convenient joystick control that can be easily mounted on the right or left side to accommodate user comfort and handedness. Electromagnetic brakes engage automatically when the joystick is taken off to ensure security and anti-tip design ensures safety even when traveling uphill.

This wheelchair is equipped with a variety of features to ensure user comfort and support. What's the difference between the A06 and A08 Freedom Chairs?

Answer: 1.) The A06/A06L can be used both indoors and outdoors; however, it performs better indoors and on flat roads.
The A08/A08L has more spring suspensions for outdoor driving. The suspensions under the seat can effectively improve the comfort of off-road driving.
2.) In addition, the size of the wheelchair's seats is different. The seat of A06 is smaller, measuring 17 x 17 inches. The seat of A08 is 18 x 17 inches.

Freedom Chair is the right name! I have had my A06 chair for more than 38 months and it is great. Well made, sturdy, and no problems and I use it almost everyday. I have two batteries in mine and I highly recommend spending the money for the second battery.
Three factors to consider: 1) range, 2) the chairs weight, 3) ease of folding and unfolding. I use Uber a couple of times a month and the drivers can lift it in and out of the car. About twice a month I ride a VA bus into LA to see doctors. I have been able to go to drag races and other outings with family. I often take local busses so you cant beat the freedom that the Freedom Chair gives you.
I get excellent range with two batteries and charge them about twice a month, take 6-8 hours. I find I can sit in the chair for 12-14 hours with a Roho cushion. I have a head rest and hang a backpack on the chair to carry my stuff and store things I buy.
I have three power chairs and find the Freedom Chair the most useful for everyday use and to get out of the house and be FREE!

Note that this item is not kept in stock and took a month just to get to the United States. I actually ordered the A06 model and its great. The manual version after unlocking it is a little odd. It has a bit of restraint to it and it is not as easy as pushing a baby stroller. I bought it for the powered feature and I works fine. The asphalt slows it down some due to the poly urine front tires. Its mainly for concrete and tile.
