Transfer Master's Valiant Trendelenburg Adjustable Bed series are ECU (Environmental Control Unit) compatible, meaning that they allow users to operate other electronic devices while using the bed. Each bed package has five functionalities that make them unique from most hospital bed styles; the five adjustable features include head and foot adjustments, hi-low abilities, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning.

Its split style bed deck allows for these adjustments to easily be made with the bed series' wired hand controller. The standard bed packages come with an eight (8) button remote that is wired directly to the bed's motor. On the other hand, the deluxe bed packages are equipped with an eight (8) button remote, as well as a deluxe hand controller to operate the single variable massage system.

In addition to having a second controller and massaging motors, the deluxe packages feature a soft floor light for fall and trip prevention. The style for each bed package styles is made to hide the various wiring and electric components that operate the functions for each package set.
