While previously working at an adjustable bed manufacturing company, Scott Davis, the founder and President of Contour Products, spoke with customers and found out that people were looking for affordable and simple support solutions for their sleep problems. Through these discussions Davis realized what was needed and with this customer information he decided to start-up his own company, Contour Products, and the creation of the Contour Pillow®.
The Contour pillow, with its famous blue support core that comfortably aligns the head and spine, helped to revolutionize the way the world sleeps. The success of the Contour Pillow® introduced various other complete lines of specific solution-based sleep, comfort and support products that emphasize posture, ergonomics and comfort while supporting the body alignment for overall comfort and improved well-being.
Contour’s in-house product design team works closely with chiropractors, sleep experts, and physicians, combining this input with customer feedback to continue the company’s mission of providing affordable solution-based comfort products that help solve specific sleep, support and comfort needs of consumers.
With roots grounded in consumer research, Scott Davis believes that his company has just started and he has a vision of Contour becoming a global leader in the specialty bedding and seating industry by continuing to design and offer new and innovative comfort, support and sleep solutions to the world marketplace.
Over the past 25 years, Contour has created a number of popular sleep and support product lines comprising the Contour Pillow®, the Cloud Mattress Pad, the Contour Cloud® Pillow, the Mattress Genie®, the Contour CPAPMax® Pillow and the Contour Leg Pillow®.
