zPod Sensory Beds are innovative products designed to change the lives of special needs children and their parents. These unique pods include a variety of features that provide a sleep environment where the child feels safe, comfortable, and content while blocking out many stressful distractions that could hinder their sleep.

This bed features newly designed sliding doors that are easy to remove and reinstall as needed. The upgraded door design makes it simpler for parents to clean the bed and leave the door open if desired. The bed includes a BLE 5.0 Bluetooth control panel, with added functionality to be added in the future with an upcoming Free zPods App. Parents have the option to lock and unlock various features of the bed based on their child's ability to use them on their own. There are also two Bluetooth speakers included that may be connected to a smartphone or tablet. It can send white noise, calming music, or any other sound that helps put your child at ease into the zPod.

With white noise being such an essential factor for many special needs children and their sleep environments, the zPod Gen 2 also features a fan system. This upgrade includes two fans that are positioned to help improve air circulation throughout the pod, helping to bolster a healthful environment.

Does the television come with the zPod Sensory Bed? If not, how do I get one installed?

Answer: The television inside the zPod is sold separately from the main bed. If you would like to have one installed, you would need to purchase the bundle that includes the TV along with the zPod. If you choose not to purchase the bundle, and you want to install your own television, it is recommended that you use an 18 - 28" television screen.

Can I (as a parent) fit inside the zPod Sensory Bed?

Answer: Yes! The zPod is large enough that parents can enter to interact with children, and the bed length is 6 feet and 5 inches long. Parents can enter with no problems as long as they are taller than or equal to 6'5".

What is the weight capacity of the zPod Sensory Bed?

Answer: The total weight that this zPod can support is 300 pounds. Please refrain from attempting to place items or people inside the zPod which exceed this weight limit.

Is there a locking mechanism that comes with the zPod Sensory Bed?

Answer: At this time, there is not a locking mechanism that is included with the zPod. The main reason for that is we want children to want to be in their zPod, not forced. While there are some children that are explorers at heart, and cannot be contained, a majority of cases of what the manufacturer refers to as "elopement" where the child leaves the zPod have been drastically reduced compared to conventional beds and sensory equipment.
