The Urology MadaJet from Mada Medical is a new, modified jet injection device designed to provide local anesthesia by using a narrow stream of highly compressed air instead of a hypodermic needle; it's used to prep the scrotum before a vasectomy procedure. The Urology MadaJet can safely deliver micro-droplets of medication into the patient without the physiological trauma associated with hypodermic needles.
This no-needle injector injects a cone-shape mist pattern of anesthesia 0.1mL beneath the scrotal skin, effectively freezing everything in its path to around the vas deferens. This method is less painful than a needle-stick and uses a fraction of the anesthesia volume. One of the many concerns for men is the use of a needle for the injection of local anesthesia into the scrotal skin, and the option of receiving local anesthesia without a needle is particularly welcome to many men.
The Urology MadaJet comes with a straight head assembly, a stainless steel sheath, Extenda tips, a stand, disinfectant cleaning solution, and a customized carrying case. The MadaJet is also fully autoclavable, which makes it ideal for multiple uses in a medical facility.
