DeRoyal's Toilet Pad Sensor is an invaluable tool for ensuring patient safety by alarming caregivers when a patient gets up from the toilet. The sensor is more than just a safety tool, however, as it also allows patients to maintain their privacy by not requiring caregivers or healthcare professionals to accompany them into the bathroom for safety.
To enhance the toilet pad sensor's functionality and convenience, it includes a number of useful additional features. One such feature is the sensor's easy-to-install design, which allows it to be quickly and conveniently affixed to the underside of a toilet seat. The sensor includes a direct wired connection to the included alarm, which can be hung on the wall behind or beside the toilet. This direct wiring ensures that there is no delay in the alarm sounding when a patient gets up, giving caregivers an immediate response to intervene. Additionally, the sensor is designed to be unobtrusive so that its presence on the underside of the toilet seat does not misbalance the seat while in use.
