The versatile mats can be used for general fitness purposes in helping to absorb impact stress while also providing a cushioned surface between the user and a hard floor to perform martial arts moves, yoga, stretching, and rehabilitation therapies.

This mat is unusable for the purposes advertised. The foam is too hard but once you mount it, it gives way suddenly, throwing you off balance if standing on it or hurting your back or hips if lying down on it. The blue vinyl cover is ill fitting--too big--so that it shifts and buckles, contributing to safety concerns. Finally, the cost was outrageous--$183 for materials that could not possibly have cost more than $15 or $20, and for the poor quality, the labor should have been free.
