The Therafin Zipper Front Vest is used to comfortably and safely position a wheelchair user in one place on a manual wheelchair seat. The vest IS NOT, nor should be used as a wheelchair safety device, nor as a restraint.
Some individuals may lack body control or may experience uncontrollable body spasms and may have difficulty sitting or staying in a comfortable and safe sitting position in a manual wheelchair. The zipper front vest enables the user a vest that is attached with 26-inch long straps and attaching hardware to the wheelchair frame, helping to keep the user in place.
The front zipper design of the vest allows the user to easily get in and out of the vest without unfastening the pre-positioned straps. The black Lycra covered neoprene vest with smooth, finished edges will provide an embracing, comfortable, and safe feeling for the user, and promises a correct seating position so the user won½t suffer any aches and pains from an incorrect sitting position.
There are safety buckles located on the top and bottom of the straps that can be released quickly in case of an emergency.
The positioning vest is available in sizes of female Junior, Miss, and Plus, as well as male Small, Medium, and Large.
