The way that this jar removes the daily moisture residue from the ITE and BTE hearing aids is by using the desiccant pillow that comes with the jar to safely absorb and dry the moisture out of the hearing aids.

The desiccant pillow that is included with the jar is reusable as well, while it may drain the moisture from hearing aids, it also can be dried for multiple uses in the future due to the fact that the desiccant pillow is both safe to be dried within a microwave and safe to dry by using a conventional oven. Drying the pillow is important as leaving the moisture in the pillow runs the risk of potential mold and mildew growing within the pillow, as well as the risk of causing mildewing of the hearing aids as well which can cause damage to the ears.
