Teak Stainless Steel ADA Folding Dressing Bench

Teak wood is praised for being a light wood that is exceptionally robust as compared to most other wood options. Teak wood is resistant to scuffing and marks from frequent use. Teak trees produce an oil that provides the wood with natural protection. This helps keep the bench smooth while maintaining a slip-resistant surface. The oil also protects the wood from water damage and bacteria growth, which is an excellent feature for benches installed in bath areas and non-climate controlled dressing areas at recreational parks and outdoor facilities.

The Teak Stainless Steel ADA Folding Dress Bench mounts to the wall with provided mounting flanges. The bench is designed with a stainless steel cross member attached to the front and rear support legs that keeps the dressing bench in a locked raised position. The automatic lock keeps the bench securely in place and prevents harmful falling. By folding up, room area is freed up for occupants to move around without restriction.

The Teak Stainless Steel ADA Folding Dress Bench meets ADA requirements:

ADA 4.26.3 for Structural Strength: With the ability to support up to 500 lbs., the Dressing Bench exceeds the ADA's required weight capacity of 250 lbs.

ADA 4.21.3 for Seat Design. The Dressing Bench must be properly installed to meet this requirement.
