How do I replace the battery on my talking digital thermometer?
Answer: The battery in your digital thermometer needs to be replaced when you see a low battery image appear in the lower right corner of the display. Replace it with AG13 battery (1.5V x 3)
To replace the battery on your Talking Oral Medical:
  • Push the battery cover to open.
  • Remove the battery.
  • Insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  • Close the battery cover.
    • How do I clean my talking thermometer?
    Answer: This thermometer is waterproof on the probe tip portion ONLY. Before or after each use, clean the thermometer with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol diluted with water, or wash with COLD soapy water. Do not sterilize by boiling, gas, or steam autoclaves.

    Very easy to understand spoken word and large display is a plus.

    The sound is loud and very clear on the prompts and temperature reading. The only drawback to the product was the box did not say it was a talking thermometer. Also directions were so tiny even a person not sight challenged cannot read.
