The Split-Top Overbed Table with Wheels by AmFab, Inc. is designed to provide extra space for working, eating, or reading while spending time in bed, in a chair, or on a sofa.

When the split top table is activated, the upper part of the table will slide either forward or back. This will allow the lower table to move into the opposite position, creating a more user-friendly space for the user. The tabletop is of a high-pressured laminate material that is resilient to scratches, chips, and stains and includes a molded urethane edge top that will contain up to almost a half-gallon spill.

Dual, ergonomic molded handles with steel reinforcements offer a safe and comfortable grip on the table for easy mobility. Included in the table design are cup holders with easily removable flexible tabs that will securely grip a cup, bottle, can, or glass to prevent accidental spills. The height-adjustable table has a heavy-duty opal powder-coated column with a sturdy base in a choice of either a U, H, or Fork design as well as an additional option of a low-profile alternate style to fit under beds with height constraints.

The gas-cylinder lift mechanism and internal bushings within the column will provide an easy and smooth finger-tip height adjustment between a low of 29.5-inches to a height of 44.5-inches. The column can be mounted on either the right or left side and the 28-inch wide base opening will comfortably provide easy access for a wheelchair.
