The Sonicaid FD2 provides the basic functions needed to monitor fetal heart rate. By focusing on simplicity and ease of use, the unit can be housed in a small package that can be used quickly and readily, and to further improve its usability, it features an easy-to-clean probe to maximize sanitization and reuse. These probes can provide 2 MHz or 3MHz as needed for more late-term monitoring during pregnancy, or for early-term fetal heart rate monitoring, respectively. With 3 FHR processing modes, the monitor can reliably detect and convey data without worrying about signal conditions and detection loss.
The handheld package can run an estimated 250 examinations across the life of its battery, meaning professionals won't have to worry throughout the day about whether they'll have access to a much-needed tool. Should the device not be shut off manually, it will also automatically turn itself off after 10 minutes to preserve battery, and features both light and sound indicators for low battery.
