The SmartDrive MX2+ is designed to make activities easier for standard wheelchair users. The new design features the PushTracker wristband that makes for easy and safe use. The wheelchair assist can push you through many terrains ranging from a steep hill to thick carpeting. The SmartDrive also has built-in safety features such as the anti-rollback safety that can stop on a hill, and begin moving forward again once desired. Powered by a lithium-ion battery and a 250 W motor, the SmartDrive MX2+ will power a wheelchair for up to 12 miles in a single charge! It is also designed to be lightweight and compatible to be used with virtually any wheelchair such as folding, tilt-in space, and one-arm drives. The motor weighs only 12 pounds and is installed by simply attaching it to the back of the chair.

Two optional accessories include the Thumb Throttle Buttons and a Carrying bag. The Thumb Throttle Buttons can be mounted in unique positions for easy access to the wheelchair control, while the carrying bag allows for easy transport of the motor and charger when necessary.

This is not applicable with standing wheelchair frames.
