The 1/2 Inch Small Metal D-Rings for Small Splinting, 25 Count can be used in the construction of finger and pediatric splints for attaching hook and loop straps. Whether caused by acute injuries such as broken fingers and sprains or chronic conditions such as arthritis, splints immobilize the injured body part in order to reduce pain and prevent further injury. The hook and loop closures, attached to the metal D-Rings allow for the splint to be easily taken off or tightened and untightened as swelling changes.
