Swinging encourages children and adults alike to build coordination and develop motor planning. The pumping action to maintain movement provides exercise through play and increased abdominal and trunk control. Swings are also an excellent resource for creating sensory awareness. Swinging helps to provide proprioceptive input and increase spatial awareness as the user moves their arms and legs against air movements and while suspended.

Unlike many swings that sag under the users weight, the sturdy plastic seat with back support encourages proper posture while swinging. The optional pommel provides protection from sliding forward for users with little to no abdominal and trunk control. In addition to this support, a headrest and leg rest is also available to provide additional support. The leg rests are ideal for users that have limited leg movement control. The leg rests are contoured to keep legs in a neutral position and include positioning straps to keep legs secured while swinging. The headrest is curved to keep the head centered and provides support for users that have limited head control.

The tie-down retention strap accessory is a great way to allow the user to have the benefits of sitting in a suspended seat while limiting the amount of movement forward to back. The retention straps anchor the swing to the ground to only allow desired movements that are limited and more controlled.
