Arjo Sara Plus Powered Patient Lift

The Sara Plus facilitates sit-to-stand tasks and patient transfers with just a single caregiver, and is designed to assist patients with varying ability and mobility levels. Caregivers can operate the raising and lowering motion via the mast controls or the simple remote for one-handed movements at the touch of a button. The remote also controls the width-adjustable chassis, opening and closing it to accommodate beds, wheelchairs, toilets, and more. The upside-down U-shaped handle for the caregiver provides more control and allows more precise positioning of the device.

Patients will first put their feet on the foot platform, ribbed to provide extra traction and reduce the risk of accidental slipping. Their shins will press against the ergonomically-shaped leg panel, providing resistance that allows patients to assist with the raising and lowering motion. Patients will grip the curved handles that feature integrated depressions for the fingers and rest their forearms on the forearm platforms, providing more resistance and giving the patient a comforting sense of both stability and control. All of these combined make the Sara Plus a great tool for rehabilitative and therapeutic exercises designed to retrain or develop the patients ability to perform sit-to-stand movements on their own.

The unique curved mast of the Sara Plus makes the raising and lowering motion more natural and ergonomic for patients, ensuring they are more comfortable and less strained throughout the transition. A variety of slings are available to accommodate patients of all shapes and sizes, and two batteries are included along with a charger to ensure one battery is always at-the-ready for transfers. An optional integrated scale weighs patients while they are on the lift and displays the measurement on the remote control for quick, easy readings that dont require a separate transfer to and from a stationary scale.
