Accessories
Support Strap provides additional security for the user during hygiene care. It is clipped on the Trunk Board through a hand slot and helps maintain the user's position while upright. |
During a transfer, the user's knee position is secure within the supportive curves of the padded kneeboard.
|
Remove Kneeboard by pulling out four quick-release pins. This converts the Support Station from Fixed Design to Pivot Design. |
Handholds and slots in the Trunk Board enable the user to assist in a transfer. The Pair of Handholds provides a secure, vertical grip and are easily attached or removed.

"It has made transfers easy. Rosyln transfers out of her wheelchair and stands independently using the support station. She takes care of herself. Very satisfying!"
"My favorite Rifton product is the support station because it benefits ME so much! It is very securely bolted onto the bathroom wall in between the HTS and the shower. My son and I can both stand comfortably while tending to personal hygiene. He has a much greater sense of independence, and it saves my back. When it's not in use, it folds back against the wall so there isn't any interference."
"Francie was the first to use the Support Station. Now she comes into the ladies' room, transfers out of her wheelchair and stands independently using the Support Station. We offer help with clothing - otherwise she takes care of herself. The look of pride and dignity on her face is priceless. Not to mention the staff benefits: elimination of physical injury and back strain due to lifting, decreased fatigue and stress, and so much time saved."
