The 3-in-1 Stretcher EZ Transport Chair is compliant with the safety standards of wheelchairs. It includes the safety and crash protection according to RESNA (WC19 Compliant) industry standards, and wheelchair tiedown and occupant restraint systems of ANSI/RESNA. Retractable siderails will drop down below the seat so your patient can slide past the seat without obstruction. You can also buy an optional, washable, and removable seat cover to protect the fabric of the chair from fluids and provide a sanitary experience between patient use.

What is the best way to clean the EZ Transport Chair?

Answer: Prior to disinfecting, the surfaces should be cleaned with soap and water, rinsed with clean water, and air-dried or dried with paper towels.

If used in an institution, the upholstery should be cleaned in accordance with the facility's infection control policies.

For all other uses, use a disinfecting chemical to sanitize the chair. The chair can be cleaned using any available detergent to lift dirt and germs so that they can be rinsed away with water. The chair can then be disinfected using any available disinfectant that destroys or inactivates germs and prevents them from growing.

DO NOT use bleach or any product containing bleach on the upholstery.

How do we adjust the chair to convert it from a chair into an exam table?

Answer: To convert the chair into an exam table, wheel the chair into an Exam Room in the upright position and unlock the safety bar lock. The chair converts to a stretcher position by lowering the back of the chair and raising the foot section. The chair can then be lowered and set back up as a chair by reversing back instructions.
