The G29 Full-Length Model and The G30 Half Length Bed Rail Models available are designed to perform and fit perfectly with your Invacare G-Series Bed. Theyve been designed to meet the latest standard for patient safety, IEC 60601-2-52. The three major concerns for the IEC 60601-2-52 safety certification are; reducing the risk of entrapment, ensuring lateral stability, and promoting a safe side rail height. Additionally, both the G29 and G30 Invacare Bed Rails adhere to the FDA guidelines for bed rails. This guideline is an additional assurance of the overall safety of the bed rails! Both the IEC certification and FDA guidelines give users and their loved ones a kind of peace of mind! No one will need to worry about the safety of the user because the likelihood of them being able to become entrapped in the bed rail is highly unlikely! The Bed Rails available are for the most part made very similar. Both are made using a durable powder-coated finish. This finish is able to resist scratching so that your rails stay looking new for longer! Each is also sold as pair and mountable to the frame of your G-series bed!

The major difference between The G29 Full-Length and The G30 Half Length bed rails are the actual sizes of each. The first is the G30 Half Length bed rails which are when installed are 32 inches long. These rails are the taller of the two and have a height above the bed deck of 17 inches. The G29 Full-Length bed rails are longer with a length of 65 inches when installed on the bed. Although these are longer they are slightly shorter than the half-rails and have a height of 15.5 inches.
