Wish the protected area went farther up the back of the pants for people who sit a lot for their work or are not able to be on their feet for an extended time. This is where the product tends to leak, particularly on larger women. I must add an additional long pad that extends higher up the back of the garment in order to have complete protection.

I take care of a 76 year old man with developmental disabilities who has been with me for 18 years. When he started to have incontinence issues, we started using "Depends". They were effective at keeping him dry, but they were ineffective in controlling odor. Also, the outer plastic left terrible redness and irritation on the skin in his groin area. Nothing I tried seemed to help that irritation. I decided to try "Prevail" after reading reviews and descriptions which included better absorption, better odor control, and because of the soft, cloth-like outer shell, cause less skin irritation. I have found all of these things to be true. I also like that they have more size options--Depends have Small/Medium and Large/X-Large, not easy to find the perfect fit. Prevail offers small, medium, large, and x-large--which makes a leak proof fit so much easier to determine. If I had one negative comment to make--they can rip if pulled up too hard. The stretchy waist is great for fitting, but the material is pretty thin, so you need to be gentle. Anyway, we are much happier with Prevail than we ever were with depends, which I would not recommend to anyone.
