Preferred Care Recliner Series - Tilt in Space Geri Chair

The Preferred Care Recliner Series Tilt-in-Space allows for improved resident positioning, increased comfort, and pressure relief. An independent leg rest is easily activated by the caregiver from the chair's side to provide leg elevation, resulting in increased comfort. The self storing, height adjustable drop arm is simple for the caregiver to activate and enables a safer, easier lateral transfer for the caregiver and resident. Padded armrests provide a soft surface for added resident comfort. The directional wheel lock on the right rear caster reduces "crabbing" of the recliner and enables the chair to be moved down hallways with less effort.

A unique suspension system self adjusts to each person, cradling the resident from head to heel and virtually eliminating the risk of "bottoming out." Extra-wide padded armrests and side panels maximize comfort. The durable epoxy coated welded steel frame is easy to clean and maintain. Quick-release upholstery allows for easy cleaning, removal and replacements, and the vinyl upholstered back is sulfide stain, mildew and oil resistant. A variety of accessories are available to customize the chair for specific individual needs. It has a weight bearing capacity of 250 lbs.

The Preferred Care Recliner Series Tilt-in-Space includes a Lumex Wrap-Around Warranty, with limited lifetime coverage on the welded frame, limited one year coverage on the upholstery, and all other components have limited three year coverage.

Note: The Preferred Care Recliner Series Tilt-in-Space does not recline. The Tilt-in-Space feature maintains a consistent back to seat angle while being tilted. The Tilt-in-Space feature is ideal for changing the position and pressure points of the patient.
