The Preferred Care Recliner Series with Drop-Arms is available in three colors of sulfide stain, mildew, and oil-resistant vinyl upholstery. These recliners are great for pain management, respiratory assistance, IV therapy, patient rooms, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and personal home use.
Each chair is equipped with the same special features such as their unique drop-arm mechanisms. These drop-arms make lateral transfers easier because they fold down and become part of the seat making it wider and open from the side. The armrests are padded similarly to the seat to provide equal amounts of comfort all over the body. The right rear caster wheel is equipped with a directional locking mechanism. This eliminates crabbing when the recliner is moved around and it makes it much easier to maneuver down long hallways.
There is a reclining range of 95- to 145-degrees. The reclining back can be locked in any position by the caregiver once the person seated has found an angle that is perfectly aligned with their comfort level. The suspension system that supports these recliners adjusts each time a new person sits in the chair. From head to heel, there is a special addition to the design that prevents the seat from bottoming out.
The armrests are made to be extra-wide and padded just like the seat and backrest. This enhances comfort for the entire body. The frame is constructed from welded steel with a durable epoxy coating. The whole recliner is easy to clean and maintain for a lifetime of responsible use.
