Posey Side Rail Pads are engineered to provide enhanced protection and comfort in institutional environments. The pads boast a contour-fitted design that ensures optimal coverage of bed rails. The one-inch thick padding offers substantial cushioning, while the specially designed outer shell minimizes friction, contributing to overall comfort and safety.

One of the standout features of these side rail pads is their practicality in daily use. The covers are both waterproof and easy to wipe clean, allowing for quick and effective sanitization with liquid disinfectants. This feature is particularly valuable in maintaining a hygienic environment with minimal effort.

The installation process is straightforward, thanks to the hook-and-loop fasteners. These fasteners ensure a secure attachment to the bed rails while also allowing for easy removal when necessary. Importantly, the pads are designed to allow unobstructed lowering of side rails without the need for removal, enhancing operational efficiency.

Constructed with a sheer nylon cover, the Posey Side Rail Pads are specifically compatible with Hill-Rom® CareAssist® and Advanta 2 Beds. They come in two sizes to accommodate different sections of the bed:

Right/Left Upper: 42"L x 15½"H x 2½"D (107 cm x 39 cm x 6 cm)
Right/Left Lower: 27"L x 15"H x 2½"D (69 cm x 38 cm x 6 cm)

It's important to note that while these pads enhance safety, they are not designed to prevent intentional bed exits or attempts to go between or through side rail gaps. Additionally, not all hospital beds may allow for full articulation when these pads are applied. It's recommended to slowly articulate the head of the bed to ensure compatibility.
