Posey Premium Heel Guard
Each Posey Premium Heel Guard has a soft outer lining that allows for firm attachment of ankle and foot drop straps and reduces friction against bedsheets.
The high-resilience foam provides padding to prevent bruising from incidental contact, while promoting air circulation and dissipating heat.
The Posey Premium Heel Guard features a traction bar and straps, as well as a larger calf support area for pre-surgical preparation of bone fractions and other ailments.

The Posey Skin Traction Heel Guard offers patients a comfortable pressure relieving interface, helps relieve muscle spasms, and immobilizes joints and bones prior to surgical procedures and other treatment modalities. Features a traction bar and straps, as well as a larger calf support area for pre-surgical preparation of bone fractions and other ailments. Post surgery, the traction bar assembly can be removed and the Heel Guard can be continued to be used as a Premium Heel Guard protector to prevent skin breakdown, eliminate pressure on the heel and aid in the prevention of foot drop, without compromising skin integrity of the lower leg and foot during recovery. One per package. Meets CA 117, section E for flame retardancy.
