The Pixi Pediatric Complete Mask is a nasal CPAP mask and headgear designed specifically for the facial bone structure and sensitive skin of children ages 2 to 7. The BIPAP/CPAP accessory sits away from the ear and eye areas, taking up minimal space on the child's face, so they can still wear glasses, read a book, or watch television while receiving therapy, and caregivers can still see the child's eyes. This feature also minimizes feelings of claustrophobia that many patients complain of. Three points of adjustment on the top, side and bottom straps allow for a customized fit that grows with the patient. The soft, single-walled silicone mask cushion sits comfortably over the nose only, minimizing skin contact while still maintaining an effective seal. The air tubing, which stretches and bends easily, can be moved on either side of the cushion, depending on the child's sleeping position.

The Pixi Pediatric Complete Mask is designed to be used for the treatment of sleep apnea for children aged two and older.

Key features of the Pixi Pediatric Complete Mask:

Child Friendly. Special headgear design sits away from the child's eyes and ears to reduce irritation and provide a clear line of sight, helping ease discomfort and feelings of claustrophobia.

Soft. The Pixi's thin silicone cushion is soft and comfortable to minimize pressure on soft faces without compromising seal or therapy effectiveness.

Safe. An emergency latch allows for quick removal if necessary, and makes it easy to take off.

Adjustable. Two tubing attachment locations accommodate different sleeping positions and a Spring-flex lightweight tube that stretches and bends easily, so it won't get caught or drag as your child moves around during sleep.

During the development of the Pixi, the child and caregiver's needs were kept in mind, aiming to improve the comfort and acceptance of the therapy as well as the safety of the child.

The Pixi Pediatric Complete Mask offers three adjustment positions, all designed to be fit from an adult's point of view, which accomodates the growth of the child.

Cushion Design
The Pixi offers a single-wall, light-weight, soft, silicone cushion to minimize pressure on the child's face without affecting the mask's seal.

Quick Release Latch
The headgear for the Pixi offers the ease to remove the child's mask quickly during sleep or in the event of an emergency.

Lightweight Headgear
The headgear is lightly colored and is made of Breathe-O-Prene, a lightweight, subtle material. The headgear is designed to rest away from the eyes to avoid vision restrictions and irritation.

Adjustable Tube
The tube can be attached to either side of the cushion to adjust to sleeping position. The spring-flex, lightweight tubing bends and stretches to prevent getting caught while sleeping.
