The PhysioStep PRO Adaptive Recumbent Stepper Cross Trainer is the ideal solution to rehabilitative, cardiac, and exercise therapy, providing users with all the benefits of a full-body workout, while they remain in a comfortable seated position. It can accommodate a wide variety of low-impact workouts including isolated body side exercise all the way up to more intense strength training with a seated row or leg press motion. The smooth, linear stepping motion is easy to perform while seated but still provides all the benefits of a full body workout.
The PhysioStep PRO incorporates an open, walk-through design and a step-lock feature to make entering and using this machine safe and easy for any environment. It includes adjustable knee and hip flexion by simply adjusting the seat and handlebar lengths. The further the user moves back the less flexion in their step. Adjustment provides the critical element of proper positioning to ensure better rehabilitative success. It also features an oversized, comfortable 20 inch seat that swivels to facilitate easy transfers and is removable to allow direct use with a wheelchair.
This machine features a high-contrast and easily visible nine inch color-coded console that displays all important workout information. On the dashboard you are able to view: Time, Distance, Pulse, Steps Per Minute (SPM), Calories, WATTs, METs, and the Resistance Level. Users start at a low, comfortable 6 WATT starting resistance and can move up through 16 possible levels of resistance to allow the PhysioPRO to meet the needs of users all along the function and ability spectrum. Users can choose from 18 included workout programs as well or just exercise without a program. The included programs are: Manual, Warm Up, Interval, Ramps, Mountain, Rolling, Climb, Random, Hill, Fat Burn, Cardio, Strength, HRC 65%, HRC 85%, Constant SPM, Constant Watts, Goal Calories, and Goal Distance.
For even further convenience and utility, the PhysioStep PRO is also equipped with a convenient USB export function that allows you to export user data through a USB port for easy tracking of goals and progress. The report includes totals, averages, and peaks in the workout plus WATTs and METs.
The PhysioPRO does come partially assembled but each package includes a tool set and instructions for easy assembly you can do right out of the box.
