PhysioStep MDX Recumbent Elliptical Cross Trainer Benefits
The MDX Recumbent Elliptical Cross Trainer is a cost-effect piece of workout equipment that gives a full body, but low impact, cardio workout with placing stress on the knees or joints, allowing for a longer, more fulfilling workout. The MDX targets legs, core, and arms while providing stability by support of the back and buttock regions.

Elliptical trainers can be beneficial for those that have trouble in a standing position during exercising. Rather, the user is able to sit in a comfortable position while still maintaining a powerful workout, making it perfect for physical therapy facilities and those with chronic back problems. Seniors will also find benefit in the seated position of the elliptical trainer, as it places less stress on the joints. Straps on the oversized pedals with heel cups help to keep the foot in place during the workout. Cardio workouts give tremendous benefits to the heart and lungs.

MDX Features
The MDX features an oversized comfort seat that easily swivels 360 degrees by raising the handle for easy access on and off of the unit, perfect for those with lower mobility. The through design allows the user from enter and exit to either side. A small footprint of 60" x 32" x 44" allows the MDX to fit into even a compact environment.

The handlebars, seat, and seat back are also fully adjustable to accommodate a wide range of users for a personalized workout experience. The ergo-grip handles of the MDX are comfortable and work the arm and core muscles during use.

The large color-coded 8" V2 LCD display tracks your progress and displays workout information such as calories burned, time, and distance. A quick start button begins the machine automatically into workout mode. The resistance level can be changed by pressing the up and down areas anytime during the workout. Alternatively, programs can be selected easily from the 'Workout Programs" monitor button with scroll and select buttons. Input gender, age, weight, and desired workout time for a personalized workout experience.

After a workout program is completed, a cool down mode for three minutes begins which helps to bring the user's heartbeat and breathing down to normal and can help reduce muscle soreness and stiffness.

After completing exercising, simply press pause, reset, and press the report button to see a summary of the workout. The summary shows total time, distance and calories burned, average METs, a measure of exercise intensity that is based on the user's oxygen consumption, WATTs, power produced during the workout, steps per minute, and heart rate if used with a monitor.

The workout summary can be saved to a USB. A symbol will show on the screen if the USB is inserted correctly into the back of the display. The summary can be then opened in Excel to keep track of workout stats from day to day.
