The Pedi-Wrap IV Wrap controls arm movement and prevents the wearer from pulling out the IV or other tubes, like a feeding tube. It also limits arm movement enough to prevent the wearer from putting things in his or her mouth, or from self-injury. Use during X-rays to keep a patient still without interfering with the X-ray. Fits either arm.
Like the standard pediatric arm immobilizers, this product is a good bandage cover and, when used for splinting arms, can help maintain muscle length and joint range of motion.
The wrap has a printed cotton outer layer, a poly-fill middle layer, and a cotton liner. A pocket with a plastic insert is included. Latex-free; FDA-approved.
To clean the Pedi-Wrap IV Wrap, toss it in the washing machine (preferably with a load of similar products, like towels) and dryer.

To Measure Size
• Holding the arm straight out, measure the arm from the underarm to the wrist (without thumbhole). This is the length you need. |
• Measure the circumference of the bicep and the wrist. The Pedi-Wrap is intended to cover the full length of the patient's arm. It should not be fitted in the mid-bicep area or it will not provide adequate support or immobilization. |
